Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno is supporting the implementation of Indonesian Dance Festival (IDF) that falls in the upcoming November.

Sandi stated this international festival could boost the tourism sector in the capital. Hence, Jakarta Provincial Government will facilitate the assistance from business world to smoothen the festival.
"We plan to hold Gala Dinner IDF 2018 in April or May. The city also plans to give convenience ranging from licensing, incentives and other needs," he expressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (2/13).

"This festival will certainly be a showcase," he stated.
In the meantime, Senior Indonesian Dance and Role Artist, as Founder and Starring Committee of IDF 2018, Nungki Kusumastuti added, IDF will take place in three locations, namely Taman Ismail Marzuki, Gedung Kesenian Jakarta, and Salihara, from November 5-9, 2019.
"The IDF has given birth to choreographers who can take part in the international arena and we really need the support from the city and other parties to succeed in this activity," he stated.
